The Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is in the nearby Pattaya city. You can visit the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary at two different times during the day. The morning visit takes place from 6:30 am to 11:30 am and the afternoon visit takes place from 12:30 to 17:30 pm. The package deal includes two traditional Thai buffet meals, pick up and drop off to your accommodation in Pattaya (terms and conditions apply), drinking water and even food for feeding the elephants!
When you arrive at the Sanctuary, the guides will give you a basic overview of the tour, our elephant welfare programs, some information about the elephants.
Since the tour can get messy and wet (in a very fun way!) we suggest that you bring some things with you. Bring a hat, sunscreen, a bathing suit, a towel and a change of clothes to our Pattaya elephant sanctuary.
You can also bring a camera with you but if you’re worried about taking photos with the elephants you need not worry. Elephant Jungle Sanctuary offers a photography service at no extra charge. The photographer will take photos of you throughout the day and upload the photos to Dropbox, which you can then access through the link on the EJS Facebook page.
Throughout your visit to Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, you will be feeding, bathing and even playing with the elephants. It is also important to us that you learn as much as possible about the elephants and why it is important to protect them. With the money we raise from visits and donations, we can contribute to elephant welfare. We rescue elephants, feed them, provide veterinary care as well as land and infrastructure for them to live on.
Our elephant village in Pattaya also has another option is the ‘Feed Me’ program where you can watch the elephants roam freely in the sanctuary Feeding them and still learn about how we transform elephant poop into the paper.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market – (Thai: ตลาดน้ำดำเนินสะดวก) is a floating market in Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province, about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southwest of Bangkok. It is the most popular floating market in Thailand, great for photo opportunities, food and for giving you an insight into a bygone way of life. An early morning start is worth it to avoid the heat and catch Damnoen Saduak at its liveliest. Most visitors who come to Thailand want to visit a floating market and many of them will end up here. Don’t let that put you off though, it’s an enjoyable morning out of the city and if you avoid the tourist shops you can get a real sense of the place.

The Elephant Village – was opened in Pattaya in 1973 as a sanctuary for former working elephants. These elephants, through reasons of injury or ill health, can no longer be used as a part of the backbone of heavy work in the jungles of Thailand. Sadly, because of their diminishing habitat, it is now longer possible to return them to the wild The Elephant Village provides then magnificent creatures with a safe haven, where they may live out their lives with dignity and freedom from fear. A visit to the Elephant Village is not only unique experience, but it is also a lifesaver for these magnificent beasts as the fees paid by our visitors contribute to the very survival of the elephants, both now and in the future.
